Caterpillars
We offer a variety of exciting experiences geared for our curious 2-year-old students who are discovering the world around them. Sensory exploration, fine motor, social emotional skills, music, daily outdoor play, etc. are all a part of the play-based curriculum. Children explore weekly the themes in their classrooms through dramatic play, books, circle time, and daily art activities. StoryTime and Chapel Time in the spring allow students to explore the school beyond their classroom as we ready them for our 3 year-old classrooms.
2-year-old Class

Honeybees
Transitional 3s:
Older 2s and Young 3s
This class is specifically designed for older 2s and younger 3s, including those still potty training. It balances structure with play-based learning, covering social-emotional development, fine and gross motor skills, and problem-solving. The daily schedule includes circle time, centers, lunch time, music and movement, and outdoor play. With guidance from caring teachers, children are encouraged to build independence. Students will move to the 3s or 4s class the following year based on their birthdate.

For potty trained 3-year-olds, this class introduces academics in a play-based setting. Children explore letters, numbers, early math skills, shapes, early reading and writing skills, and colors while learning about a different theme each week. Daily circle time, art exploration, outdoor play time, music, and social emotional skills are also a part of our developmentally appropriate curriculum. StoryTime and Chapel Time are just few of the monthly activities children participate in to encourage exploration and curiosity about the world around us.

Butterflies
For potty-trained 4-year-olds, this class focuses on the many skills students need to prepare them for kindergarten. We follow Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS) and utilize Handwriting Without Tears as the basis of our play-based curriculum. Themes change each week, keeping students engaged while encouraging curiosity and exploration. Daily circle time, art exploration, outdoor play time, music, and social emotional skills are also a part of our developmentally appropriate curriculum.
